Dawn Abbamondi

Dawn Abbamondi, CFE Dawn joined the SMB team in 2011 and as Chief Marketing Officer leads clients in the areas of marketing, social media, franchise development marketing (public relations, website design and lead generation). With over 25 years of experience in the franchising industry, she has experience as a franchisor, franchisee, and supplier to the industry. Dawn serves on the International Franchise Association (IFA) Women’s Franchise Committee, sits on the “Her Success” podcast taskforce, and is a mentor for the IFA FranShip program. She is a member of the ADP Franchise Advisory Board and held the position of co-chair of the Philadelphia Women’s Franchise Network (WFN) from 2018 to 2024. Dawn writes a monthly column for Franchise Dictionary Magazine and has contributed to Entrepreneur Magazine among other industry publications. Outside of SMB, she is married, a mom of three and an active volunteer in her community. She serves as board president for the local business association and is the board secretary for Elizabeth’s Wish.org a 501c3 non-profit. Dawn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University, and has continued graduate study in the areas of Marketing and Business Administration. She enjoys sharing her experience with companies who are learning how to franchise, as well as those who want a fresh perspective in regard to where their brand fits into the industry and how best to expand into new markets.
